My location place easily is "backyard" and lovely enclosed of forest direct at the borderline of Germany and Belgium. The light "pollution" is extemly bad in the north west , because of the lights of the near Belgian freeways (see picture, 1min exposure / 200ASA). But the whole south sky is dark enough to start the ccd imaging. My self made tripod is standing outside the whole year. But not the Scopes...So it's not too comfortable to carry all the stuff every time from the "living room" to the garden. But after all I don't have to drive...;-) ! Unfortunately I'm living in a industry area with flashily lights ;-( ! .  more
